The building Arbuckles Eatery & Pub calls home has been standing since 1894. It was built as part of the Flora Tack block designed by Green Bay architect C.C. Buck. At the time, Flora Tack was a major Stevens Point land owner. The building has served many purposes over the years. The second floor housed Stevens Point’s first public library until 1904. Since then it has housed a drugstore, clothing store, and more recently a couple of restaurants.

Arbuckles Eatery opened its doors in May of 1991, quickly becoming popular for its comfortable family-friendly atmosphere and of course “Italian Fries”^TM. In February of 1999, Arbuckles Eatery added the bar and became Arbuckles Eatery & Pub. Along with the bar came our “Marathon of Beers Club“ started in December of 2000. In December of 2008, the adjacent vacant lot was obtained which was opened as a smoke-free patio in June 2009. Now patrons have the option of enjoying our entire menu inside or outside.
